Great Big Family Christmas
WOW. What an absolutely amazing time we had at the Sidewalk Prophets "Great Big Family Christmas" night!!!
These guys are some of the nicest, most real, genuine, funniest people. And seriously TALENTED.

Colleen was the sweetest friend ever and bought our tickets as a Christmas present (and of course, she got those VIP tickets ya'll because that's just how she rolls!) It was honestly the coolest thing ever to meet the band before the show for the Q&A. We also had so much fun playing the "Heads Up" game which is one of my absolute faves! I'm pretty sure our team won also because we are just the bomb dot com (haha). But from the start, it for real felt like a family party game night- so much fun!!

Afterwards (before the show started), we hung out, took some Christmas pics, & bought some merch. I also started thinking about the meaning of "Great Big Family Christmas". Colleen truly feels like my sister in Christ. I am truly blessed to have her in my life! When you accept Christ into your heart, you belong to the beautiful family of God's Kingdom. God will place some truly incredible people on your path and into your life. So even if you don't have a "great" relationship with your actual family members - that's okay. We can only do our best sometimes with that. But God is able to restore relationships as well as bless you with soul sisters and soul brothers (LOL).

Check out this awesome merch! (& oh hey, random dude walking by!) >>>

And then, yes... we went back for more because they busted out these SWEET t-shirts (it was on sale guys... killer deal that we could not pass up. Plus, we love supporting Christian artists!!!):

Lyrics on the shirts are from their song "Come to the Table" (AMAZING lyrics):

"Come meet this motley crew of misfits These liars and these thieves There's no one unwelcome here That sin and shame that you brought with you

You can leave it at the door Let mercy draw you near

Come to the table Come join the sinners who have been redeemed Take your place beside the Savior

Sit down and be set free Come to the table Come to the table"

-Sidewalk Prophets

(PS- Yesssss [insert "Praise Hands" emoji] to the "Motley Crew of Misfits" part! That's definitely me... anyone else feel like that sometimes?)

I also grabbed their "These Simple Truths" album so that I could bless someone with it! I'll have it posted for FREE this week (yes, 100% absolutely free) on the "Tools" page.

>>> One last "P.S." - we also LOVE the lyrics to "These Simple Truths", so incredibly beautiful. Colleen said that she even incorporated them into her Maid of Honor speech at her sister's wedding! <3

Okay, onto the SHOW!!!!
