In this new series, I will share weekly Bible verses to focus on the daily challenges of being a student, and Christian, and fighting daily to please the Lord in all your ways.
Month 2: Strength in Christ
Spiritual Discipline – Creating a Daily Devotion Habit
Matthew 6:33 – "But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."
Psalm 119:105 – "Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path."
Identity in Christ – Knowing Your Worth Beyond Academics
2 Corinthians 5:17 – "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!"
Psalm 139:14 – "I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well."
Handling Academic Pressure – Relying on God’s Strength
Isaiah 40:31 – "But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."
Philippians 4:13 – "I can do all this through him who gives me strength."
Midterms & Perseverance – Running the Race with Endurance
Hebrews 12:1-2 – "Let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith."
James 1:12 – "Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him."
Final Prayer:
Lord, thank You for this journey. Thank You for every lesson, every challenge, and every opportunity to grow in You. As I step forward, help me to trust in Your perfect plan. Fill me with Your wisdom, strength, and peace. No matter what comes my way, remind me that You are holding my future in Your hands. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
