Bible Verse:
"Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters."— Colossians 3:23 (NIV)
Devotional:
Serving God isn’t limited to Sunday mornings or a church building—it’s a lifestyle. Whether we’re traveling, volunteering at church, supporting others at work, or gathering as a family, each moment becomes a sacred opportunity to reflect Christ.
As a family, serving together creates unity, strengthens bonds, and teaches the next generation the joy of living for God. It may look like setting up chairs, cooking meals, or simply being present for someone in need. When done with love, these everyday actions become acts of worship.
Even when we're on the move—on a mission trip, visiting family, or just out of our routine—our faith travels with us. God can use a conversation, a kind gesture, or even a prayer whispered in a hotel room to minister to someone’s heart.
At work, our attitude, integrity, and kindness can speak volumes. We may be the only example of Jesus some coworkers see. That's why Colossians reminds us that everything we do—seen or unseen—is ultimately for the Lord.
Whether we’re on the road, in the pews, at home, or in the office, let our hearts remain focused on the One we serve. He sees it all and blesses faithfulness, no matter how small it may seem.
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for every opportunity to serve You—at home, in church, at work, and wherever I go. Help me and my family to walk in unity and love, being Your hands and feet in every place. May our lives always reflect Your goodness. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
