Faith That Moves Mountains – Week 2: Unshakable Belief

📖 Matthew 21:21 – “Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.”

📖 Hebrews 11:6 – “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”

📖 Mark 9:23 – “Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.”

Devotional Message

Faith is not just a feeling; it is a powerful force that brings God’s promises to life. Jesus tells us that even a small amount of faith—faith without doubt—can move mountains (Matthew 21:21). What “mountain” are you facing today? Is it fear, uncertainty, financial struggles, or broken relationships? Whatever it is, faith in God has the power to overcome it.

Hebrews 11:6 reminds us that faith is essential to pleasing God. He desires that we trust Him completely, knowing that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him. This means we must walk by faith, even when we don’t see immediate results.

In Mark 9:23, Jesus tells us that all things are possible to those who believe. Faith is not about what we can do—it’s about what God can do through us. No matter how impossible your situation looks, God is greater. He calls you to trust in Him, to speak His promises over your life, and to believe that He is able to do exceedingly more than you could ever ask or imagine.

This week, challenge yourself to pray with bold faith. Speak life over your situation. Declare God’s promises, and refuse to let doubt take root in your heart.

Prayer

Lord, I thank You that my faith in You is stronger than any mountain in my life. Help me to trust You without doubting. Strengthen my belief, and remind me that all things are possible with You. I lay every worry and fear before You, knowing that You are able to do the impossible. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Reflection: What is one area in your life where you need to exercise bold faith? Speak God’s Word over it this week and trust that He is working on your behalf.
