Finding Peace in Times of Uncertainty: A Devotional on Philippians 4:6-7

Key Verse:

6Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. 7Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.

Understanding Anxiety:

In the Bible we have several areas where it gives us an understanding on what is anxiety and it gives us a clear picture of worry and distrust. In all the verses that mention Anxiety we can see that the solution is always praying, giving it to Jesus and walking in his promises everyday. Anxiety can be causes by our actions outside of God’s will and trying to do things our way. Those feeling of nervousness is the Holy Spirit within us telling us that we need to go back toJesus the only one that can give us an unexplainable Peace.

Divine Invitation:

When we read “Don’t worry about anything” what is our first thought?

Look for Answers for the things that worry us, look for the ways to no longer worry. We can trust that within the Lord’s Presence we can be sure he takes care of everything, all worries need to be given to God to be able to rest in him.

Prayer as a Remedy:

Prayer is an interactive relationship and communication with Jesus and our Father. We give all our worries and doubts to him and leave it to him he will take care of the rest. Prayer is a way to tell Jesus our petitions and pray for others on there behalf. Pray heals the broken pieces, of our soul and of our heart.

Gratitude and Thanksgiving:

To have gratitude is the readiness to show appreciation for and return kindness. To be able give thanks even in the difficult time shows us that Jesus is Truly Lord in our Hearts. That we don't need something good to happen to praise him, that even in the struggle he still reigns forever.

Praying this Devotional helps you Draw closer to Christ and if you have not accepted Christ in your Heart today is the Day of Salvation.

Ending Praying:

Heaven ingredients Father thank you for who you are and what you have done in my life. Today I come to you giving you all my Worries, because you are the one that makes my burdens light. Thank you for dying and resurrecting for my sins. Thank you for what you are doing and what you will continue to do in my life.

In Jesus Name we pray, Amen
