Get movement in

Hi today in Iowa it was 57 degrees, I always got told by health care professionals that movement is the best therapy for mental and physical health; for years I never believed them until a month ago!


I multiple chronic illnesses, to me it was never realistic until, I took adult swimming lessons… the teacher was 90 teaching a 22 yr old how to swim, but it wasn’t just to swim, it was how to enjoy the little things that God gives us!! Breath in your lungs, if you can believe it swimming it a lot of work and trying to breathe at the same time is hard, and arms and legs to help us perpell to move forward or backwards in water or on dry land. I’ve learned movement is essential and Can actually make our days better even if that means you stand outside, walk in place, walk, or even running. Know that how ever you need to move is worth it to feel even a little better.


I challenge you to get outside and enjoy the air and maybe the clouds too.
