Scripture:
."Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you." — 1 Peter 5:7 (KJV)
As a mother, nothing burdens the heart more than seeing your child suffer. The long nights, the prayers whispered through tears, and the uncertainty of what comes next can feel overwhelming. But in these moments, God gently reminds you to cast your cares upon Him—because He truly cares for you and your little one.
Think of the woman in the Bible who had an issue of blood for twelve years. She pressed through the crowd just to touch the hem of Jesus' garment, believing that even the slightest connection to Him could bring healing (Mark 5:25-34). Her faith was enough, and Jesus, full of compassion, made her whole.
Today, you are pressing through your worries, reaching for Jesus in prayer. And just like He saw that woman, He sees you now. He knows your fears, your exhaustion, and your deep love for your child. You don’t have to carry this burden alone. Let Him hold you up, strengthen your heart, and remind you that He is in control.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, I come to You in my weakness, placing my child in Your hands. You are the Great Physician, the God of all comfort. Please bring healing, strength, and peace to my child. Calm my anxious heart, and help me trust in Your perfect will. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Reflection:
Take a deep breath and read Psalm 46:1 — "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." Let His presence be your peace today.
Dedication: Your strength and love shine brightly in this storm. May God’s healing hands be upon your little one, and may His peace and comfort surround your family. You are not alone—He is with you every step of the way.
