This is the bag I just happen to be using to carry Care Packages to and from the Post Office to ship to people that submit requests for a free, encouraging Care Package @ GraceinLove.org.
It's the perfect bag that I had laying around because it's big enough to fit at least 2 packages at a time. To be honest, I'm pretty sure my cousin gave me this bag awhile back ago and I forgot to give it back to her....
It's just funny because it just so happens to say "I Said Yes". Sure, it's referring to saying yes to getting married. Which is a similar comparison really to what I'm thinking about when it comes to this blog post.
Saying YES to God.
God creates us all with free will. He doesn't "force" anyone to do anything. But He does call us. And then it's our choice how we respond.
Our first call is the call to faith and follow Jesus. Have you said YES to following Christ yet and opening your heart to God's love?
And then as we live our lives as Christ followers, most of the time- He's going to call us to do other things. Maybe it's to go on a mission trip. Maybe it's to start a ministry. Maybe it's to follow another dream He's put in your heart. Maybe it's just to be kind to someone in particular.
The catch is, He won't force us. He gently leads and calls and out of faith and obedience, we say YES.
Again, it's similar to when we say YES to marrying our spouse. This commitment we make out of LOVE.
It's a truly beautiful thing!
