How can God use you?

An example to the Gentiles

As the people of God we are chosen and selected to be an example to the people who are not followers of Christ in conduct, love and also with all things of life. With the simple way of life, the way of speaking and conducting with the people around us.

Selflessly serving (Deu.6:13) To serve him in the good times, the bad times and when there is no deserve is absolutely a form of serving. A simple act of picking something up in the house of the Lord. The acts of serving in a committee and serving the people of God with no expected repayment for the work done for others. We know that the best repayment is not monetary but instead honor.

Teaching (Deu. 6:7) Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.

This verse from the heart of a father who wanted the best for this people, Moses. He was leaving his people before going into the land of Canaan, where he made it a priority to give them the tools to teach the children of Israel. Jesus saw it important to have people teach others to be able to spread the world to all of the corners of the world.

Going Against the World (2 Cor. 10:3-5) For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.

We are on This World, but we are not of This World, therefore giving us a hope to be waiting on our heavenly home. Since we are in this World we have a mission to not contaminate ourselves with the things of the World, such like Daniel put in his heart when he was taken from his Native land.

Witnessing the People (Acts 26:22-23) But God has helped me to this very day; so I stand here and testify to small and great alike. I am saying nothing beyond what the prophets and Moses said would happen— that the Messiah would suffer and, as the first to rise from the dead, would bring the message of light to his own people and to the Gentiles.”

Being a Witness to the people around us, is an important task and can be done by everyone. Showing God’s love in every aspect of our lives. Just as simple as a kind word in someone's time of need maybe all that they need to see God’s love through you.

Why does God choose to use us?

Lead out of Exile--- Just like the Israelites, we are something's "Slaves to Egypt"- not in the literal sense, but to our sins and sinful living. The way he removes us from Egypt can be in peace or by sending plagues to remove us from where we were attached to. He is so gracious that he leads us out and gives us a better place to live and gives us purpose to fill for his kingdom.

Be the change in the World--- He calls us to be the praying warriors and protect our family from the attacks of the enemy. We can do that in several ways showing the world that being Christian is a labor of love and with heavenly compensation. To have a heart that worships God in the good things, the bad times and when we are struggling to find the passion in Christ.

To have his will completed--- We were created to worship, serve and seek God for the time we are on this Earth and we are commended to do so. I see it as a practice for when we are in Heaven to worship day and night without resting for the rest of eternity. We are to share the word to the people who have not experienced this love.

The Task at Hand?

Ask God what your purpose/ Goal is--- God has a goal/ purpose for us all, some have the goal to worship ( Levites), to lead or preach. We have a calling and we need to ask God what it is and how we can use our lives to glorify him. A simple prayer to ask God to revival his purpose for you can make all the difference in your life.

Be open to Serve --- I have seen the wonders of serving, God really moves in my favor and is forever working for my good. The people who are willing to serve are the God use for great things for his Kingdom. To serve is to be first to be honored by God.

Learn from Others-- We have people all around us, doing good, doing bad and not doing anything at all, we have the examples and we have the choice to follow the great ones to benefit from them. The goal is to look at our leaders, what they are doing and follow the good and positive from them.

Praying that you see the purpose you have in Christ, that you can move forward in the Works of God and that most of all you look and seek God in all things of life.
