Month 3: Gratitude & Purpose

Thanksgiving – Cultivating a Heart of Gratitude
- 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 – "Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus."
- Colossians 3:15 – "Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful."
Serving Others – Living Out Your Faith on Campus
- Matthew 20:28 – "Just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many."
- Galatians 5:13 – "You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love."
Purpose & Calling – Trusting God’s Plan for Your Future
- Jeremiah 29:11 – "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future."
Proverbs 16:9 – "In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps."
Overcoming Burnout – Resting in God’s Peace
- Matthew 11:28-29 – "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."
- Psalm 46:10 – "Be still, and know that I am God."

Heavenly Father,

As I come to the end of this month’s devotional journey, I thank You for Your presence in every moment—through the challenges, the victories, and the lessons learned. You have been my strength when I felt weak, my peace in the midst of stress, and my wisdom in times of uncertainty.

Lord, as I continue this journey through college, help me to trust You more. Remind me that I am never alone, that You go before me, and that Your plans for my life are good. Give me the discipline to stay focused, the courage to keep going, and the faith to believe that You are working all things for my good.

May my studies, my relationships, and my daily walk be a reflection of Your love and purpose. Lead me in the right direction, open the right doors, and give me a heart that seeks You above all else.

I surrender this next season into Your hands, knowing that You are guiding me step by step. Thank You for Your faithfulness, Your grace, and Your endless love.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
