Patience and Waiting Well
Bible Verse:
“Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD.” — Psalm 27:14
Devotional:
Waiting is one of the hardest parts of faith. Most people are comfortable with movement, answers, and progress, but struggle when life slows down or when God seems silent. In those moments, impatience can grow quickly, making us want to force doors open or settle for things outside of God’s timing.
But waiting is not wasted time in God’s hands. It is often where transformation happens quietly. God uses waiting seasons to shape our character, deepen our trust, and remove what we would not let go of in faster seasons. What feels like delay to us is often preparation in His plan.
Waiting well does not mean doing nothing. It means staying faithful while you wait—praying, growing, serving, and refusing to give up hope. It means trusting that God is working even when you cannot see movement. Faith in the waiting season is often more about endurance than immediate answers.
God is never late, and He is never careless with your life. If you are in a waiting season, you are still held, still seen, and still being led. Keep your heart steady. What God has promised will come at the right time, in the right way.
In seasons of waiting, it can help to simplify your focus. Instead of obsessing over timelines, focus on obedience in the present. Ask God what you can learn right now, how you can grow right now, and where you can serve right now. Waiting well is not passive—it is active trust expressed through daily faithfulness.
God is forming something in you that delay cannot destroy. Trust that even in silence, He is working with intention and care, preparing outcomes that will reflect His wisdom and your growth. Stay faithful; your waiting is never wasted in His hands. He is faithful always.
Prayer:
Lord, waiting is not easy for me, and I often struggle with patience when I cannot see results. Help me trust Your timing more than my urgency. Teach me to remain faithful in the middle of delays and to not lose heart when things feel slow. Strengthen my spirit so I don’t give up too soon or rush ahead of You. Show me how to grow, serve, and stay obedient while I wait. Remind me that You are working even when I cannot see it, and that Your plans are always good. Give me peace in the waiting season and confidence in Your perfect timing. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Love this so much, Cristal! Very encouraging 🙏🙏♥️♥️
