Week 4: Summer – A Time to Recharge

Scripture Focus:

  • “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” – Matthew 11:28

  • “He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.” – Psalm 23:2

Devotional Reflection:

Summer is often a time of relaxation, vacations, and slowing down. While rest is important, it is also a time to recharge spiritually. God created seasons of work and rest for a reason—so we can be refreshed.

Application/Challenge:

Take time this week to rest and reconnect with God. Set aside time for family devotion, relaxation, and renewal in His presence.

Prayer:

Lord, thank You for seasons of rest. Help our family to recharge physically and spiritually. May we use this time to grow closer to You. Amen.
