Scripture Focus:
“I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” – Philippians 4:13
“But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” – Isaiah 40:31
Devotional Reflection:
Life is full of challenges, and every family faces trials—whether financial struggles, health battles, or relationship difficulties. In these moments, it can be easy to feel weary or discouraged. However, God calls us to persevere, not in our own strength, but through Him.
Throughout the Bible, we see stories of individuals who remained steadfast in the face of trials. Joseph endured betrayal from his own brothers but remained faithful, and God elevated him to a position of great influence. Job lost everything yet refused to curse God, and in the end, God restored him.
As a family, determination means standing together in faith, encouraging one another, and trusting in God’s promises. Instead of seeing obstacles as roadblocks, view them as opportunities for growth. When one member of the family is struggling, the others should step in with prayer, encouragement, and practical support.
Application/Challenge:
Take time this week to encourage someone in your family who may be facing a difficult season. Pray for them, remind them of God’s faithfulness, and stand beside them in faith. Memorize Philippians 4:13 together and declare it over your home.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, give us strength and determination to face every trial with faith. When we are weak, remind us that You are strong. Help us as a family to encourage one another and trust in Your perfect plan. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
