Bravery 2 Samuel 12:10 Have you ever done something with great intentions and it doesn’t turn out the way you planned? Well, that happened to David, a short summary of this story goes as follows:
An Ammonite King had passed away and in the tradition, it was a custom to send your condolences. But, because in the past David sent people to cities to conquer, this didn't turn out so good for his men. The men were forced to shave their beards and never return. This wasn’t what David wanted for his people. He had intentions to be kind.
What we can learn from this, we may have the correct intentions with something, but with past experiences, it may take people some time to trust us again and even not think of us how we were in the past.
Praying that God heals our hearts to change our actions to reflect Jesus in everything we do.
That we can be a change that God wants us to be and an example in all that I do.
We learn to seek God in all the things we do so that we look more like him.
