In this new series, I will share weekly Bible verses to focus on the daily challenges of being a student, and Christian, and fighting every day to please the Lord in all your ways.
Month 1: Foundation & New Beginnings
Back to School – Trusting God in New Seasons
Isaiah 43:19 – "See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland."
Joshua 1:9 – "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go."
Time Management – Balancing Studies, Work, and Faith
Ephesians 5:15-16 – "Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil."
Colossians 3:23 – "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters."
Overcoming Anxiety – Casting Burdens on Christ
Philippians 4:6-7 – "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
1 Peter 5:7 – "Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you."
Healthy Friendships – Choosing Godly Companions
Proverbs 13:20 – "Walk with the wise and become wise, for a companion of fools suffers harm."
1 Corinthians 15:33 – "Do not be misled: ‘Bad company corrupts good character.’"
As this college devotional journey comes to an end, it is only the beginning of a deeper walk with God. Every challenge, every victory, and every uncertain moment is part of His perfect plan. No matter where this season takes you—whether in academics, relationships, or personal growth—remember that God holds everything in His hands.
Jeremiah 29:11 (NLT) reminds us:"For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope."
There will be moments of stress, doubt, and exhaustion, but God is your strength and guide. When the path ahead seems unclear, trust that He is directing your steps. He has already gone before you.
Words of Encouragement:
You are never alone—God is always with you.
Your faithfulness in the small things will lead to greater blessings.
God’s grace is more than enough for every mistake, every shortcoming, and every weakness.
Keep seeking Him—even in the busyness of school and life.
As you continue forward, take this truth with you: God is in control, He is faithful, and His plans for you are greater than you can imagine.
Final Prayer:
Lord, thank You for this journey. Thank You for every lesson, every challenge, and every opportunity to grow in You. As I step forward, help me to trust in Your perfect plan. Fill me with Your wisdom, strength, and peace. No matter what comes my way, remind me that You are holding my future in Your hands. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
💛 Stay encouraged, keep your faith strong, and trust in God’s amazing plan for your life! 🎓✨
