“But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”— 1 Corinthians 15:57 (NIV)
Devotional:
Spiritual warfare is not always dramatic or visible. Most of the time, it shows up in quiet battles—thoughts that won’t settle, fear that lingers, temptation that persists, or discouragement that tries to convince you to give up. Scripture makes it clear that these struggles are real, but it also makes something else clear: the outcome is already decided in Christ.
1 Corinthians 15:57 doesn’t say we might have victory. It says we have victory through Jesus Christ. That means your fight is not to earn victory, but to live from a place of victory that has already been secured.
A growth mindset helps you understand that spiritual strength develops over time. You don’t become strong in one moment—you grow stronger through repeated choices to trust God, speak truth, and resist what pulls you away from Him. Every time you choose prayer over panic, truth over lies, or obedience over impulse, you are training your spirit.
Spiritual warfare often targets the mind first. That’s why what you believe matters so much. When lies say you are defeated, forgotten, or alone, God’s Word reminds you that you are already covered, already known, and already victorious in Christ.
Victory does not always look like immediate change in circumstances. Sometimes it looks like peace in the middle of the storm, strength when you expected to collapse, or clarity when confusion tries to take over. God’s victory often shows up internally before it shows externally.
You are not fighting for victory—you are fighting from victory. That changes everything.
Stand firm, stay rooted, and keep your mind anchored in truth. The battle is real, but so is your victory in Christ.
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for the victory I have through Jesus Christ. Help me stand firm in truth when my mind feels under attack. Strengthen me in spiritual battles and teach me to rely on Your Word. Remind me that I am not fighting alone, and I already belong to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
